Contributing to a Walkable Town for Everyone

The goal of the Longevity Bench Project is to place benches every half mile along popular walking routes in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts.

Walking, a healthy activity for all ages, enhances a sense of well-being and provides interaction with people, nature and the environment. The Longevity Bench Project embraces the goal of lifelong living within the home, the neighborhood and the community where people have established a sense of safety and belonging and where they intend to live out their lives–to enable people of all ages and abilities to take a walk with more places to rest along popular streets in residential neighborhoods.

”Summer is the ideal time to get outdoors and appreciate how something as simple as a walk can improve our health and well-being. Manchester-By-The-Sea, MA is one town where strides are being made to not only recognize that but also to support and encourage it through the Longevity Bench Project, Inc. With the use of our Everett bench and product customizations, this project has been near and dear to our hearts since its inception in 2017.”
