Project Leaders & Partners

As members of the Board of this small nonprofit, our vision is to increase the quality of life for our Manchester-by-the-Sea's most valued asset – its residents and their families and friends who visit. With untold beauty all around, this picturesque seaside village offers tranquility at every turn. We need only to get outside and take a walk to fill ourselves up with the sights and sounds and smells of our surroundings. We want to live in a town where we can take a walk and know there will be a place to rest along the way.

Lisa Bonneville | President & Founder

Lisa has been a business owner in Manchester since 1984. Her interior design firm, Bonneville Design, specializes in helping people prepare their homes for lifelong, multi-generational living. Aging in a home naturally extends into the neighborhood and community in order to maintain good health, social interaction and a sense of well-being. Lisa serves on the town ADA Advisory Committee and Master Plan Committee and delivered Meals on Wheels to many of the town’s elderly for 18 years. It is her vision to create a more walkable town in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA that inspired the Longevity Bench Project.

Susan Harrington | Board Member at Large

Susan is a town resident since 1964, and Manchester-by-the-Sea is where she raised her four children. She is a former journalist and photographer, currently owner of Harrington Appraisal Service, residential appraiser since 1987.

Louisa Mackintosh | Treasurer

As a small business owner, Louisa brings accounting, project management and non-profit experience to the Longevity Bench Project. A longtime Manchester resident, she is an avid walker and wellness enthusiast, among other interests.

Gillian Kellogg | Director at Large

Gillian is an enthusiastic walker and biker. She loves and wants to encourage the pedestrian nature of Manchester. Gillian has served in town as a member of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee, the Community Center, and the Friends of Trees and on many boards and councils in the area including the Mass Audubon Council, the United Association of Greater Boston and the Rockport Music Council. Her professional background is in education and international consulting.

Ann Noble-Kiley | Director Emeritas

Ann has been a resident of Manchester for over 30 years. Her two children graduated from Manchester Public Schools. She has a background in nonprofits and was formally Executive Director of Boston Partners in Education. She has a passion for walking and enjoying the beauty of the many walks in town. This love of walking has fostered her interest in the Longevity Bench Project and desire that all town residents have the opportunity to find the same joy in town that she does.
